Pin Saver

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Pin Saver is a free utility that helps you save publicly available PIN media (images and videos) to your own device for personal, offline viewing. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what information is and is not processed, why the app asks for storage permissions, and how advertising works inside the app.

Educational-Purpose Disclaimer

Pin Saver is provided strictly for educational and personal reference purposes and to demonstrate how publicly accessible media can be retrieved and saved. The app only accesses content that is already publicly available. It does not bypass logins, paywalls, or any access restriction. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of any saved content complies with copyright law and the rights of the original owner (see our Terms & Conditions).

1. Overview

Pin Saver ("the App", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. The App does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal details such as your name, email address, or phone number. By using Pin Saver, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

The App itself does not collect, store on our servers, or transmit to us any of the following:

  • ✓Names, email addresses, or contact information
  • ✓Account credentials or logins for any platform
  • ✓Precise location data
  • ✓The personal photos, videos, or files already on your device
  • ✓Contacts, messages, or call logs

We have no user database and no way to identify you personally. However, the third-party advertising service described in Section 5 does process limited device information to serve ads — please read that section carefully.

3. Local Data Stored on Your Device

All data the App creates stays on your device and is never uploaded to us:

  • ✓Media you choose to download is saved to your device's storage or gallery.
  • ✓A local download history (a list of items you have saved) so you can find them again.
  • ✓App preferences such as dark mode and your chosen download folder.

This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing your download history, deleting saved files, or uninstalling the App.

4. Why the App Requests Permissions

Pin Saver only requests the permissions it genuinely needs to perform its core function — saving media you ask for to your device. Here is exactly why each one is used:

Storage / Media access

Used solely to save the images and videos you choose to download into your device's gallery or a folder you select, and to let you view and manage those previously saved files inside the App. We do not scan, read, collect, or upload other personal files on your device.

Internet access

Used to fetch the publicly available media from the link you provide so it can be saved to your device, and to load advertisements.

Shared-link handling

When you tap “Share” on a PIN link from another app, the link can be sent to Pin Saver so you don't have to copy and paste it. Only the link text you deliberately share is received.

5. Advertising

Pin Saver is supported by advertising. The App displays banner, interstitial (full-screen), and app-open ads to keep it free to use.

Ads are delivered through Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information from your device, which can include:

  • •Advertising identifier (e.g. Google Advertising ID)
  • •IP address and approximate, non-precise location derived from it
  • •Device type, operating system, and app version
  • •Ad interaction data (such as which ads were shown or tapped)

This processing is carried out by Google under its own privacy policy, which you can review at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalised advertising or reset your advertising identifier from your device settings (under "Ads" or "Privacy").

6. Third-Party Content

The media accessed through Pin Saver is hosted by third-party platforms and belongs to its respective owners. We do not host, own, store on our servers, or claim any rights over that content. The App acts only as a tool that retrieves publicly available media at your request and saves it to your own device.

7. Children's Privacy

Pin Saver is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App may show advertising, parents and guardians should supervise use by minors. If you believe a child has provided information through the advertising service, please contact us so it can be addressed.

8. Data Retention & Your Control

Because we do not store your data on any server, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. Everything the App creates lives on your device and is fully under your control. You can remove it at any time by clearing the download history, deleting saved files, revoking permissions in your device settings, or uninstalling the App.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to keep the App functioning safely. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of any data processed by third-party services such as the advertising provider.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Pin Saver after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
